Roof Access & R.F. Safety Course
This course is intended for personnel who require access to none fragile flat roof working areas, where fall prevention or protection requirements may be necessary.
The syllabus includes the information that is essential to comply with the regulatory framework in place when working at height, and includes practical training for this environment.
The content of the course includes; statutory regulations, intervention measures, fall prevention and fall protection equipment, signing and guarding, equipment working categories, suspension trauma, associated working hazards, non-ionising radiation, end-user equipment inspection, with the practical element including harness fitting and use of intermediate attachments and anchor points.

SYLLABUS
A.M. Classroom based element of the course, with workbooks provided for each delegate. There is a written test to be completed at the end of this session prior to undertaking the practical element.
P.M. Practical element of the course, with hands-on use of fall protection harnesses, fall arrest lanyards and roof access safety kit. There is a practical assessment of delegate skills required for this session.

Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will receive certificates and photo I.D. cards for proof of competence when attending site.
